23 Garton Road is the one with the genuine Lindsay Falck pedigree.

He was a UCT-trained architect, became a partner at Revel Fox & Partners, and four projects he worked on there received Cape Provincial Institute of Architects Bronze Medal Awards for Design Excellence. He left Revel Fox in 1968, became a full-time UCT academic, and simultaneously maintained his own architectural practice. The Wixley House therefore dates from the very beginning of his independent-practice period.
