Stilbaai Oos, Stilbaai

Some homes are built with bricks and mortar.

This one was built with history.

One of the very few remaining historical homes in Stilbaai, this remarkable property proudly holds the distinction of being the very first Police Station in Stilbaai. Long before the town became the sought-after coastal destination it is today, this building stood as a silent witness to the birth and growth of the community.

If these walls could talk, imagine the stories they would tell... of the pioneers who shaped the town, the families who built their lives here, the changing seasons along the Goukou River, and the countless moments that became part of Stilbaai's rich heritage.

Lovingly preserved over the years, this home retains much of its original character and charm. The exterior walls and roof remain true to the home's historical heritage, while the original wooden floors, window frames, and doors continue to reflect the craftsmanship of a bygone era. Over the years, only practical alterations have been made where necessary, including basic electrical updates and a few interior changes, while every effort has been made to preserve the authentic character that makes this home so special.

Perfectly positioned in one of Stilbaai's most sought-after locations, the property enjoys an exceptional setting with the tranquil Goukou River directly across the road—offering beautiful views and the relaxed lifestyle that makes this area so desirable.

The home offers:

3 Spacious Bedrooms
1.5 Bathrooms
Comfortable Lounge
Functional Kitchen
Enclosed Front Patio overlooking the river
Enclosed Back Patio

This is far more than a house—it is an opportunity to become the custodian of a remarkable piece of Stilbaai's history. Properties with this level of heritage and character seldom become available, making this a truly special offering for those who appreciate timeless architecture, rich history, and the unique stories that only a home like this can tell.

Perhaps the next chapter in this extraordinary home's story... is yours.
