Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeek Valley

In the heart of Riebeek Kasteel lies an opportunity that doesn't present itself very often. This beautiful thatched home has been carefully crafted to create a warm and authentic atmosphere, true to what a thatch house should portray. Large wooden windows and doors lets in a flood of light. A wooden kitchen and large stone cladded fireplace adds to the rustic theme. But the "pièce de résistance" is most definitely the upper floor of this home - a modular space that could either be a bedroom or an artist studio. With some clever redesign, this space could be transformed into further bedrooms, or whatever one's heart desire. To the rear is an intimate courtyard, complete with a "plaasdam", which could easily be converted into a pool. Water from a borehole keeps the dam full and will keep the garden green throughout summer. Grab the chance to make your dreams come true and own a house in the "platteland".
