Claremont Upper, Cape Town

Conceived and built by an architect for his own family, this exceptional Claremont Upper residence is a rare expression of considered design, where every line, window and volume has a purpose.

Soaring windows flood the home with natural light, while wooden floors add warmth and continuity throughout. The open-plan living and dining areas flow seamlessly into a modern, well-appointed kitchen, creating an effortless space for both everyday living and entertaining. On cooler evenings, the working fireplace becomes the heart of the home. A guest cloakroom on the ground floor completes this level.

Upstairs, three bedrooms offer comfort and privacy. The two secondary bedrooms offer their own loft space for versatility and enjoyment.
The luxurious main suite is a true retreat, with a walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom and uninterrupted mountain views. A family bathroom serves the remaining bedrooms (2.5 bathrooms in total).

Outdoors, the solar-heated 7m Long swimming pool is made for long summer days early morning laps, and a feature koi pond adds a touch of character (in need of some repair). A double garage and excellent security allow for a true lock-up-and-go lifestyle, all within close proximity to Claremont's amenities.

Stylish, secure and full of light, this is a home for the discerning buyer who values architecture, ease and a lifestyle that's ready from the day you arrive.
