Durbanville Rural, Durbanville

Imagine stepping outside your front door and feeling like you've left the city behind.

Picture slow Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee overlooking the countryside, children playing in the garden, dogs wandering freely, chickens nearby and evenings spent around the built-in braai as the sun sets over the surrounding landscape.

Welcome to a property where space, freedom, character and opportunity come together.

Located in Mikpunt, a peaceful rural area in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs, near Klipheuwel and Fisantekraal and approximately 20 kilometers north of central Durbanville, this property offers a quieter lifestyle with a sense of space and freedom away from the busy suburbs.

Here, there’s space to slow down, dream bigger and create a lifestyle that feels truly your own.

The main home is warm and character-filled, featuring spacious open-plan living and dining areas, beautiful wooden ceilings and plenty of natural light. The living spaces create an inviting environment for family life, entertaining friends or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The kitchen is practical and well-sized, while the bedrooms offer comfortable accommodation. The main bedroom opens towards the outdoors, allowing you to enjoy the garden and surrounding views.

Step outside and the possibilities really begin.

The expansive grounds feature mature trees, palms, a children's play area and beautiful countryside and mountain views. A borehole adds further practicality to the property, particularly for maintaining the spacious grounds and supporting the outdoor lifestyle that makes this home so special.

The current owners enjoy the property with dogs, chickens and pigs, while horses have previously been kept here.
Whether you dream of having animals, growing your own garden, creating a beautiful outdoor retreat, giving children space to explore or simply enjoying a slower pace of life, there is plenty of room to make that vision a reality.

Adding to the property's versatility is a separate flatlet requiring TLC. With a little imagination, this space could be transformed into accommodation for extended family, a guest suite, rental accommodation, a creative studio or a home office - giving the next owner an exciting opportunity to bring their own vision to the space.

The property also features a separate storeroom, currently used for practical storage and perfectly suited to keeping tools, gardening equipment, animal supplies and outdoor essentials neatly tucked away. With so much space to enjoy outdoors, having a dedicated storage area adds an extra layer of practicality to this country-style property.

This is the kind of property that needs to be experienced rather than simply described. Come and walk the grounds, take in the views, discover the possibilities and imagine what you could create here.
